Bob Donovan was found guilty of “peeping” in a college restroom
Bob Donovan pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge and paid a fine for peeking through a hole in a bathroom stall at UW-Milwaukee. He was ultimately found guilty.
Bob Donovan was indicted on a federal corruption charge.
In 2005, federal prosecutors indicted Donovan, alleging that he made a false statement to the Department of Housing and Urban Development "with intent to defraud."

Now, Bob Donovan has been caught paying himself thousands in campaign funds for his second home.
In July 2025, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Donovan, in December 2024, began paying himself $850 a month from his campaign account for “staff lodging” at his old house, $5,950 in the total. However, he didn’t list any camping staffers at the time.
